Hi guys! I would like to use this topic to know what do you think about the possibility of creating an AGI. All of you is following the "Advanced Topic in Artificial General Intelligence" course, and probably you spent time on thinking about the possibility of creating an AGI (like Paolo and me sometimes do). So, why don't we share our doubts, questions, answers and so on? (Outside the questions that the professor wants that we post) Do you think that is possible to create an AGI? or that will be possible? Yes?...No?...When?...Why? For example Paolo and me talked about if an AGI should have "the will" to choose what to learn. But all our thoughts are not in a written form and we can't remember all we said about it, so I discovered this place that the professor gave us and I think that is a good idea to put together our thoughts in a way that we can read them again in the future. I don't know if you like this idea, but if you like it, you can just post your thoughts, questions etc. to exchange opinions.

Hey guys.
I like the idea and I think it will be possible, but it will take some time until we read or hear about a real AGI like it is described i.e. in the last paper.
What is interesting for me: Should an AGI start like a child with imitating movements and storing experiences of adults before making its own experiences or should it start with an empty set of experiences?

I think that an AGI sholud start with some knowledges that let it start to "live" and, after that, it should acquire new knowledges and grow...(don't ask me how ahhaha xD...just kiddin! You can ask everything, we are here to think about it together)
